ALL orders placed from Friday 17th December 2021 will not be dispatched until week commencing 3rd January 2022. If for some reason we can deliver your order before the 3rd of January, we will send you a dispatch email to let you know.

1. Making a Purchase
These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on British Bathroom Company website and via the telephone. The placement of orders indicates you the customers’ acceptance of our terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. To place an order through our website you must be at least 18 years of age and be able to accept delivery within the UK. We will treat each order as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU DO NOT SCHEDULE OR COMMENCE ANY PREPARATION WORK UNTIL YOUR GOODS HAVE ARRIVED AND HAVE BEEN CHECKED.
Order Processing and Acceptance
Your order is accepted and contract is formed between the British Bathroom Company and you the customer when the goods are dispatched that have been ordered and not pre-dispatch. A contract is not formed at the point in time that payment has been processed from you by the British Bathroom Company, nor at the point in time that you receive an order acknowledgement from the British Bathroom Company. Until the goods are despatched the order may not be accepted by the British Bathroom Company or may be cancelled by you. Any correspondence regarding your order is only to report that your request has been received and will be processed by our team, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email. The British Bathroom Company reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance of the order, to refuse any or part of an order, or request further or more accurate information to enable it to evaluate and/or fulfil the order.
Whilst we try to ensure that pricing on the website is correct at all times there may be some instances of price fluctuations out of our control and we reserve the right to cancel orders affected by such circumstances.
We also reserve the right to cancel any order up to the point of delivery, communication will be by either email or telephone.
In addition, in terms of saving and accessing order agreements. We store all orders and send you the details of your order via e-mail. You can find our terms and conditions on our website at all times. The details about your order history can be accessed through the customer login area.
2. Description of Goods
All images, product descriptions, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as guidance only. We always try to ensure all product descriptions are correct, but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out. (Most manufacturers reserve the right to upgrade, update and change products without notice) .
Whilst we make every effort to reproduce the colours of the products correctly variations may occur through imagery and lighting effects.
Please note that certain products such as bathroom furniture may need some modification to suit specific requirements, such as designs, Pipework and space constraints. Any alterations of this nature are carried out at the customers own risk, and as such the product guarantees may be rendered invalid.
3. Special Orders
Special orders are hand made to customers own specification and therefore cannot be cancelled. Please bear in mind that as these products are bespoke delivery times may vary.
4. Payment and Price
We are entitled to adjust the price to take account of any increases from our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an omission or error the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. Any price fluctuations will be advised and agreed prior to accepting your order. We ask that all goods be paid for on completion of order and that all funds are cleared prior to delivery. We accept most major credit, debit cards and also BACs payments (we do not accept cheques) On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and telephone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.
If a pricing error occurs on the website the British Bathroom Company will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.
5. Delivery Information
We aim to deliver most products within 5 working days if possible; however some made to order items may take longer. Please note that all delivery dates given are only and always approximate. Goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Larger items such as Glass and Pottery takes between 5-7 working days for delivery due to the nature of the delivery being specialist. Smaller items such as taps, shower and toilets seats will be delivery in approximately 3-5 working days (Please Note: We do keep healthy stocks of Shaws of Darwen Kitchen sinks, in the unlikely event we do not have your sink available as they are handmade to order they may take 4-6 weeks to arrive with us approx), if you are in a rush for any sinks it is always best to call and check our stock or availability at the Manufacturer.
Please Note: Customers must ensure that there is someone available to take the specialist deliveries that have been pre-booked via Pallet or Specialist Courier, you must also make sure that the person signing for the goods are capable of assisting with the completion of the delivery should this be required. It is also ESSENTIAL that we are able to contact you during 'our' business hours to arrange the delivery and also to ensure the smooth delivery of your order, we will not attempt delivery prior to verbal communication. Deliveries that are made by Pallet are on artic vehicles and any ACCESS issues MUST be confirmed prior to placing an order. Please note pallet deliveries are kerb side only although some companies will aim to get it as close to the door as possible. British Bathroom Co do not take responsibility for disposal of waste packaging, plastic cardboard or pallets.

If you live in any of the following areas you are welcome to place an order online however you may be required to make an additional delivery surcharge payment. This is due to the proximity of the location:

as of 1st January 2021 we will be temporarily unable to deliver any orders overseas or outside of the UK. This includes Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight, Guernsey and Jersey Isles.
EXPRESS SPECIALIST DELIVERIES: Where we take payments for express deliveries on Next Day or 2 Day services 99% of these are completed on time, we are not liable for failed deliveries if this is circumstances out of our control (Adverse Weather/Road Closures/Force Majeure etc)
The British Bathroom Company insists that you do not to book any tradesman or engage in any preparation work until full receipt of your goods and that they are in satisfactory condition. If any item is out of stock, an advisor will email or telephone you to advise you of the expected delivery date, so please ensure that you have entered your contact details correctly as failure to do so will hinder our ability to contact you if required.
If an order cannot be successfully fulfilled due to the customer being unable to accept the goods on the date agreed, then a redelivery charge may be applicable. This cost would then be borne by the purchaser. on larger deliveries these are pre-planned and confirmed/arranged direct with the customer.
If an order is placed over the out of hours, weekends or on a bank holiday the order date is taken as the following working day for delivery guidance. If a delivery would normally fall during festive periods the delivery estimate may be extended to a later date, please call for further information on 01274 270353.
After completion of your order please check your receipt and ensure that all the details are correct. If you need to amend any part of your order or would like to make an addition, please contact us immediately as changes to an order may delay your delivery.
If your item is not in stock we will contact you to let you know the expected arrival date, you will be given the choice to wait for the item or cancel the order. If you choose to wait for an item to arrive back into stock it will be shipped as soon as it is available and you will be notified should there be any further delays.
When your order arrives please check all items thoroughly and we ask that any issues are reported within the first 48 hours of receipt of goods. If you have a damaged item please email images along with your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As soon as the goods have been delivered you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver to the confirmed address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature unless requested by the person named on the order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.

6. Cancellations and Returns
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days from the day after the date of delivery. To exercise your right of cancellation you must give written notice by post, email or fax, giving details of goods ordered and the delivery details. For further details of how to return goods please contact our customer care team on 01274 732933.
All non faulty goods must be returned within 14 working days starting from the day after receipt of the goods, and we ask that all goods are returned safely and in their original packaging. We will refund your money on orders within 28 days of cancellation less any delivery cost as detailed previously. Returns outside 28 days will not be accepted. Any returns notified after 14 days but within 28 days may be subject to an additional 20% restocking charge. On cancellation for any reason, you must return the goods at your own cost unless we agree otherwise or we confirm that you may dispose of the goods. Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty, incorrect or damaged then we will meet the cost of the return to an appropriate value, but we ask that you allow us to suggest a courier.
Larger Item Cancellations
If you would like to cancel an order on a Larger item (pottery, glass etc) where the delivery is scheduled by our specialist carrier, a refund will be issued minus the carraige charge if the services of the courier have already been engaged.
PLEASE NOTE: Toilet Seats are NON-RETURNABLE once they have been removed from the cellophane wrapping due to hygiene reasons.
The responsibilty of the goods in transit during return is with yourself and the courier company that you have engaged, and you the customer should always ensure that you obtain proof of postage/delivery for your own reference. Always inform us of the details of any goods you intend to return. Please note that we can only accept returned items from our recommended couriers. Failure to report goods being returned prior to arrival will delay the refund process and failure to enclose your relevant details will also delay this process.
Please ensure that all goods are checked by yourself and we ask that any problems or damages are reported to us on 01274 732933 or via email within 7 days of receipt. When signing on delivery you are signing to say that the goods have been received in good order, failiure to report damages within this time frame will not allow us to provide replacements and replacements may have to be re-purchased.

You will become the owner of the goods once they have been received. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice to you.
If you would like to collect your products in store a 10% administration fee will be applied, for example an order total of £100 will carry a charge of £20 when collected in store. We carry a select range in store for immediate collection, not every item on our website is available for immediate collection and some items may carry a lead time, we ask that you contact us prior to collection to check availability of products.
The Majority of our Gold products are special order which means delivery of these products could take between 2-3 weeks even longer depending on the item itself. Please also be aware that in the event of a returned Gold product this will be subject to 50% re-stocking charge as Gold products are a not stocked item.
All our products are covered by a 12 month guarantee unless specified otherwise, if the product has a longer manufacturer guarantee after the initial 12 months the guarantee is passed to the manufacturer.
Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
If a longer manufacturers guarantee is provided you may contact the manufacturer direct if required to rectify any issues that may fall within their guarantee. Replacement parts or warranty issues can generally be resolved by dealing directly with the manufacturer, alternatively you may contact us regarding any issues with items and we can contact the manufacturer on your behalf. We may request further details via email and photographic evidence so that we can send these on for you. Manufacturers do need a reasonable time to process the issue and to reach a suitable resolution.
Manufacturers Guarantees may become invalid unless installations are made by the appropriate tradesman. (Please see individual guarantees for further details)
SHAWS BELFAST SINK INFORMATION - The Manufacturer Warranty on Shaws Sinks is 12 Months and starts from the date of Manufacturer as hand stamped on the underside of the Sink, with the Shaws sinks there is a tolerence of */-2% (please understant that this item is HANDMADE and not mass produced so these items can have a variance and are generally meant to be unique)
We do not disclose buyers' information to any third party other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Data collected by this site is used to:

All rights regarding to site design, text, graphics and other content, interfaces, and the selection and arrangements thereof belong to the British Bathroom Company. All rights are reserved save as set out below. Permission is given to electronically copy and to print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of creating a shopping resource. Any other use of materials on this site, including reproduction for purposes other than those noted above, modification, distribution, or republication is strictly prohibited.

Without prejudice to statutory rights afforded to purchasers of products, the information and materials contained within this website, including without limitation, text, graphics and links, are provided on and ‘as is’ basis, with no warranty, and specifically, the British Bathroom Company does not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this website is accurate, complete or current, or that the use of this site is free from risk of viruses or other damage. Price and availability information is subject to change without notice. Products purchased from the British Bathroom Company are warranted in accordance with law and nothing herein is to be taken to exclude or restrict any rights, which applicable law grants to consumers in respect of such products or services. Individual products may be subject of additional warranties or guarantees given by their manufacturers directly. Such warranties etc are not enforceable against the British Bathroom Company, but only by the person giving them.
The British Bathroom Company are retailers and not technical experts in the area of plumbing or installation. If you have a Technical Query it should be directed to a suitably qualified professional. You agree that any advice given by a member of staff will not be relied upon without verification with a suitably qualified professional. We accept no responsibility for any damage caused by your reliance on any such advice.
Our terms and conditions, and all transactions relating to our website and all non-contractual obligations arising from any transaction carried out on this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms.
